Documentation Poetry. After the Encounter. An Echo.

Sometimes, you have to take risks. Try something new!

I am using the WordPress.com support documentation as raw material for my found poetry!

Rules:

I use the title of this new diffraction art of mine as a seed for poetry.

I am typing the title in the form field in wordpress’ support system, like this:

I have to pick the first link – Post by Voice, pick a text snippet from this page. Continue using the next link on that page (Writing prompts), pick another snippet. No editing allowed, no going back or re-ordering.

Reaching the last link in this list – DEV Insights, I have reached the developer documentation. Obviously, I am now outside the small Help Center window. From there, I hop from page to page within the developer documentation – again taking a phrase of each page, then clicking on an arbitrary link (still within the wordpress documentation).

It try to avoid clicking links that would take me back to the site administration, but alas: I click on How to Transfer a Domain to WordPress . com … and the only link here is get started, ore the support chat. It is tempting, but I will not start a support chat for the sake of poetry!

So the poem ends, but I quite like its final note!

After the Encounter – an Echo is an overlay of two images – showing the same virtual structure from different viewing angles. The structures are built from diffraction curves, lines representing the mathematics underlying the physics of the diffraction of white light into rainbow colors.
